RISEUP Supervisor Training, Chennai
The 26th batch of senior mental health professionals who underwent RISEUP Supervisor Training facilitated by IAPS. The training was held in hybrid mode. 11th March, 2026 training was held on the Zoom platform and the training on 13th and 14th, March, 2026 was in-person at Chennai.
RISEUP Group Supervision Training
The sixth batch underwent the RISEUP Group Supervision Training facilitated by IAPS. The training was held in Chennai on the 15th of March, 2026.
Faculty Development Programme on Supervisory Mastery in Clinical Psychology
In collaboration with the Indian Academy of Professional Supervisors (IAPS), Surana College, Banglore, successfully conducted a 6-day Faculty Development Programme for the Department of Psychology. Dr. Vasuki facilitated the program concluding clinical masterclass on “Supervisory Mastery,” focusing on models for supervised practicum in counseling and clinical psychology,assisted by Dr.Veena.This professional initiative provided practitioners and faculty with advanced frameworks and essential tools for high-level clinical supervision. title
Webinar on ANCIENT WISDOM AND MODERN PSYCHOLOGY: 7th Anniversary Celebration
IAPS celebrated its 7th Anniversary with a webinar delivered by Dr Shivam Dubey from the US. Dr Dubey contrasted modern neuroscience’s focus on treating symptoms with ancient wisdom’s broader approach to understanding suffering, introducing the concept of the Five KOSHAS to describe the human experience.
The webinar was well attended and received.
