Aprajita Bhardwaj is a developmental and consulting psychologist with over 26 years of work experience. She has completed her PhD from the Dept. of Psychology, University of Madras. She has presented papers at conferences. She has received the Best Paper Award in the Category of Empowering Different Ability Groups in the International Conference in Applied Psychology (2006). Her post graduate Dissertation on ‘Social Pressure on Indian Preadolescents’ has been published in the International Journal ‘Scientia Paedogogica Experimentalis’ in the year 1985.

Aprajita has specific expertise in the field of learning disabilities and ADHD using the Orton Gillingham and Multisensory approaches and ‘The Strategic Instructional Model’ (SIM) developed by the Kansas University. She is trained and experienced in providing dynamic assessments and in improving the cognitive skills of students using the Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment developed by the ‘International Centre for Enhancing Learning Potential’, Israel.

She is a Resource Person for Soft Skills Training for Maritime Training for junior and senior Merchant Navy officers. She has conducted training for the ‘Wellness at Sea’ training programme by Sailor Society’ London, UK and has trained over 800 cadets and officers for maintaining good mental health in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Aprajita is a consultant for relationships and behaviour problems among children and adults using the Cognitive Behaviour Therapy approach. She has also been trained and experienced in Applied Kinesiology using the Three in One Concepts. She has also been trained in Adrelian Approach in Marital Therapy from Betty Lou Bettner. She has also been trained in Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and REBT.
